Incentive trends & traveling to deliver the best, better
In the latest edition of our “5 Questions with…” series, Vice President of Sales Kevin Hagan opens up about his role at Incentive Concepts and incentive industry trends.
Hagan is responsible for all U.S. sales and oversees a team of 30 sales professionals throughout the country. The position requires a great deal of travel to visit his team and clients, which keeps him on his toes. “It’s always great to see somebody new every day,” he said. “There’s always a new challenge. I love that, being out in the field in front of people. I operate better in that situation than behind a desk.”
Corporate events shifting to personalized rewards
As a Premium & Incentives industry veteran who has worked at Incentive Concepts for more than 11 years, Hagan has firsthand knowledge of the business and the many ways it’s changing, including a shift to more personalized rewards in corporate gifting. “Over the last few years, we’ve seen a lot of transition from just pillow drops and gifts for people at corporate events to actually letting them choose and select the product that they need the most,” he said.
And Incentive Concepts is perfectly positioned to accommodate these industry shifts. “We’ve really become a one-stop shop,” Hagan said, pointing to the vast array of services the company offers, including sales, distribution, decoration, events, and superior customer service.
When Hagan isn’t on the road, he spends quality time with his family, including a delicious annual tradition. “We do a Hagan rib fest,” he said. “I’m in charge of cooking and making the barbecue sauce from scratch. We’ve done it for nine years, and it’s just a blast to get everyone together.”
