IC Team Members Give Back to St. Louis Community at Cranksgiving Event

Incentive Concepts employees take to heart the company’s motto of delivering the best, better as volunteers.

Never was this more evident than this past weekend during the St. Louis BWorks Cranksgiving event. More than 20 members of the IC family participated as volunteers at this charity event featuring 700 cyclists who pedaled their way to local grocery stores, purchasing nutritious food goods along their route. All items are donated to low-income community members via Food Outreach.

IC Cranksgiving Volunteers

The 12th annual event resulted in 20,000+ food items that will provide clients with HIV/AIDS or cancer healthy food choices for the next four to five months. It’s a St. Louis tradition that kicks off the generosity, community support and volunteerism of the holiday season.

Billie Reise, Vice President of Administration, helped organize the volunteers and emphasized the importance of giving back. “At Incentive Concepts, we stress teamwork and cooperation in everything we do. An event like this allows us to come together as a family, while making a positive impact on our community.”

After the event, fifth grader Joseph Woods, son of IC Operations Manager Kristi Woods, said, “That was so fun, can we do it again next year?”
