Team members give back to various causes to help those in need
At Incentive Concepts, we aim to deliver the best, better not just for our clients but also for the community we serve. Our employees work tirelessly to provide superior service experiences, but we also encourage their involvement with the causes and organizations they’re most passionate about.
It starts at the top. President and CEO, Joe Reinberg, serves as treasurer for the Young Friends of Kids with Cancer. The Friends provide educational, emotional, and recreational support for children who are undergoing treatment for, or are survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases. “It’s an amazing group of people and I love their mission,” says Reinberg. “These kids are so tough and inspiring. They need all the joy in life they can get and that’s what this organization is all about.”
Reinberg also serves as Vice President of the BackStoppers Development Board and spearheads The Jeff Reinberg Classic golf tournament. The BackStoppers is a St. Louis based organization that provides financial assistance to the spouses and dependent children of first responders who are critically injured or lose their lives in the line of duty.
Lauren Emge, Director of Event Logistics, and Lisa Brown, Director of Procurement, are also driven to help those in need. Emge volunteers for The Pooper Troopers, The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s annual diaper drive. She and her family have helped out for five years and counting, and recently collected more than 333,000 diapers for families in need. She manages volunteers and coordinates box drop-offs and pickups for donations. Brown works with Clowder House Foundation to prep dry food for cats who have been abandoned or whose families can no longer care for them.
According to Clowder House Board Member Deb Cobb, “Lisa is one of those special volunteers that every organization wants and needs. She is dependable and understands the importance of even small jobs.”
For Mary Pat Mitchell, Customer Loyalty Advisor, her work makes an impact closer to home. As a Host Team Leader for The Gathering UMC, she organizes and delegates duties to ensure church guests are taken care of. One Sunday every month, she makes sure new church attendees are greeted, seated, and informed about church events.
“I’m very proud to be a part of a church that gives back to the community and is a place of comfort to people that may have been hurt by other church groups,” Mitchell said.
And Director of Marketing Andy Hudson, who is an experienced amateur ice hockey official, serves as Board Member for the Bill McKenna Memorial Scholarship Foundation. The foundation provides academic support while recognizing intellectual growth and achievement among young members of the Missouri Ice Hockey Officials Association. Earlier this year, Hudson worked with veteran NHL referee Tim Peel to conduct that inaugural Tim Peel Referee Camp, which provided classroom training, on-ice instruction and live game supervisions for young hockey referees while also raising awareness and funds for the foundation.

The word “Incentives” can mean different things to different people and can be confusing and even intimidating. But boiled down to its simplest terms, an incentive is anything that is designed to modify and drive behavior to an ultimate goal. Whether it’s for employees, customers, or prospects, Incentive Concepts delivers brands that will help you achieve your goals.
