Like 2020, 2021 was a year marked by uncertainty and new obstacles. Still, Incentive Concepts remained fully committed to delivering superior customer service and helping companies maintain a culture of rewards and recognition. In a special year-end episode of Incentive Concepts LIVE – titled “Reflect & Resolve” – the company’s President and CEO Joe Reinberg and VP of Administration Billie Reise joined the broadcast to reflect on 2021’s biggest learnings, highlight the successes, and look ahead to the new year.
Holiday traditions & personal highlights at Incentive Concepts
After host Andy Hudson (Director of Marketing), Joe, and Billie shared holiday traditions and personal highlights from the year, the group pivoted into some of Incentive Concepts’ biggest challenges and accomplishments.
Among the challenges, Joe spoke to the company’s recent Oracle system upgrade, a massive undertaking but one that was expertly handled. The biggest headaches stemmed from supply chain issues, which have plagued several companies across industries. Joe credited Incentive Concepts’ ability to overcome these problems to excellent brand partner relationships, the best sales representatives in the business, compassionate customers, and dedicated, hardworking employees.
Ultimately, however, the year was defined by Incentive Concepts’ many successes, including the company’s August acquisition of KLF Group, a Canada-based, full-service rewards and incentives provider with its own proprietary technology and an expansive portfolio of renowned brands. Joe also pointed to employees’ individual achievements – Regina Garofalo won the PPB Service Superhero Award, and Shaye Knowles was recognized by RepLink for the Excellence in Data Entry Award. He rounded out his highlights by recognizing Billie for her contributions to the company’s winning culture.
During her portion of the broadcast, Billie shared her empathetic approach to keeping the Incentive Concepts team safe, inspired, and respected throughout the year’s ever-changing circumstances. The company’s efforts included a new charitable initiative, Gift Boxes That Give, which supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Thankful, Grateful, Blessed campaign, an internal initiative to help various causes in the local community. Joe also chimed in about Incentive Concepts’ support for Backstoppers, Friends of Kids with Cancer, and other nonprofits.
Throughout the broadcast, viewers shared their personal and professional highlights as well. And, in a departure from the usual Incentive Concepts LIVE giveaways, viewers could enter a drawing to have Incentive Concepts donate to their charity of choice. One lucky winner was able to make a meaningful difference for their favorite organization this holiday season.
The group then looked ahead to 2022. Joe shared that many members of the Incentive Concepts team were reading the book Traction by Gino Wickman, in an effort to clarify the company’s next steps, ensure team alignment, and continue growing. Billie echoed this focus, selecting the words evolve and communicate as her key terms to guide the forthcoming year.
