Proceeds from The Jeff Reinberg Classic benefit families of fallen first responders

The 8th annual Jeff Reinberg Golf Classic benefitting The Backstoppers, Inc. takes place October 17, 2022 at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles, Missouri. The charity golf tournament is organized by Incentive Concepts’ President and CEO Joe Reinberg, along with his family.

The event honors Reinberg’s father, Jeff Reinberg, who passed away in 2015 and previously served as President and Board Chairman of Incentive Concepts. Jeff Reinberg was well-respected by the Incentive Concepts team, and he’s fondly remembered as an intelligent, determined, and solution-oriented leader who challenged his people, rewarded their hard work, and generously gave them his time and advice.

“Family, friends, and coworkers were inspired by his work ethic, enthusiasm, charity, and wisdom,” said Mike Reinberg, Jeff’s youngest child. Thus, several members of the Incentive Concepts staff attended the event as both golfers and volunteers to show their support.

In addition to his duties at Incentive Concepts, Jeff Reinberg was actively involved in the local community. He served as President and Board member of The BackStoppers, Inc., a St. Louis-based organization that honors and remembers fallen first responders by providing financial assistance to their spouses and dependent children. Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit BackStoppers.

“Our appreciation for The BackStoppers is a part of our father’s legacy,” Mike added. “Our family is proud of our father for having served the BackStoppers organization for nearly 10 years, and we are equally proud of our brother Joe for his involvement today.” Joe helped start BackStoppers Young Friends, a group of supporters who organize a variety of fundraising events throughout the year.

The BackStoppers provides roughly $2.5 million in assistance annually and has served over 180 families since its start in 1959. Some of the services the organization provides include debt elimination, assistance with tuition and education costs, health and dental insurance, and financial counseling. The charity currently covers 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois.
