Baking gifts episode features cookie stamps, cookware and more
Throughout 2020, millions of Americans have spent more time at home, and they’ve turned to baking to create sweet treats for the family, relieve stress, and express their creativity. The demand for home goods is sky high and will likely continue to grow as we approach the holidays, including the upcoming National Bundt Day (November 15). In the October 22 episode of Incentive Concepts LIVE, we partnered with Nordic Ware to make the perfect Bundt cake and explore the best baking gifts for home chefs.
Incentive Concepts’ Andy Hudson, Director of Marketing, and Kevin Hagan, VP, Sales, hosted Nordic Ware’s Cindy King, National Account Sales Manager, and Christine Petersen, Sales Manager and resident TV personality.
King noted that 2021 is Nordic Ware’s 75th anniversary, an incredible milestone in a journey that began in the early 1960s, when the Bundt pan first gained attention. Since, the company has developed an expansive Bakeware collection, which features mostly uncoated, 100% aluminum pans for even baking results. The brand recently relaunched its baking tools and accessories as well. King also highlighted Nordic Ware’s Cookware line, pointing out that the company is the largest domestic manufacturer of woks and griddles.
Though Nordic Ware is largely known as the Bundt pioneer, the brand also led innovation in the 1980s with its full line of Microwave Accessories. And, King spoke about the company’s 365 Grillware, in which the products can be used indoors on the stove or outdoors on the grill. Additionally, Nordic Ware has an array of Kitchenware products and prepackaged sets, of mixing bowls, dinnerware, and several other items.
Employee rewards for the perfect Bundt
In the second half of the episode, Petersen used Nordic Ware’s Vanilla Bean Bundt Mix to teach viewers how to bake the perfect Bundt. Among her top tips, she recommended avoiding cooking spray and instead using a spray that contains both flour and oil, using whole milk, and baking for 50-60 minutes since Bundt cakes are dense.
During the demonstration, Petersen emphasized that Nordic Ware holds the registered trademark for Bundt. She shared how Nordic Ware’s Bundt pans were heavy and sturdy, and how the aluminum provided even heating, which resulted in a beautiful crust and tender interior. She also shared creative ways to repurpose your Bundt pan, to make ice molds, rice cereal treats, and bird feeders.
After the Bundt cake segment, she demonstrated how to use the Geo Cast Cookie Stamps. Cookie stamps are an easy alternative to complex decorative icing. Nordic Ware makes several cookie stamp sets, including Halloween and Holiday designs. Give your team employee rewards to show your appreciation. Contact us today to learn more.
